Description

Kristin painted this piece, alternately named “Veridis Quo,” en plein air on the bank of the Sauk River, in the Bedal Campground in the Pacific Northwest. The star of the painting, a young hemlock, competes in the dense rainforest for space, with a yellow cedar (right) and a Douglas fir tree (left). In the foreground, a young aspen and a delicate daffodil frame the forest scene.

This jewel of a painting captures the impenetrable forests of the Pacific Northwest.

Gallery-wrapped on 1/2-inch rails, the front and sides are painted, and the painting is labeled by the Artist on the back. Ready to hang. Includes authenticating Certificate of Provenance.

Unframed. Size: 9 in. X 12 in. X 1/2 in.

Media: Oil on canvas, gallery wrapped on 1/2-inch wood rails.
